Marika Widdermann

Marika Widdermann, born in 1983, received her certificate of completed apprenticeship as metal designer in 2007.

In the same year, she became a freelance metal designer. She adds a female element and aesthetics to the creativity and diversity of the Widdermann’s familiy business. In her workshop special pieces of jewellery from iron, copper, silver and wrought bronze, cast bronze and enamel jewellery, as well as concepts and models, arise.

Qualifications

• Various seminars and practicals in freehand drawing and sculpturing with university lecturer and master sculptor Dirk Brüggemann
• Learned to cast bronze with the sand casting process by studying on her own
• Learned soldering and enamelling by studying on her own
